TWO MEW FOR SENTENCE. OTHER CHARGES PENDING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. John Thomas 'Backhouse, aged 20, and John Velcli Crichton (also known as Jack Euman) aged 17, who were charged .to-day with breaking, entering and theft, pleaded guilty and were committed for sentence. Crichton was also committed for sentence on a charge of indecently assaulting a six-years-old girl. An application for hail for Backlu use was refused. There.are also live charges of car conversion against Die pair. These will he- dealt with by. a Magistrate after .accused have been before the Supreme Court.
