Herr Krupp, the head of the wellknown armaments firm has resigned the leadership of German industry. Dr. Sohaoht, the head of the Reichsbank and general director of industry has requested Herr Ewald Hecor, the leader of the Reich’s 'Economic chamber, to replace Herr Krupp,
who is concentrating on the management of his own firm In view of Germany’s rearmament activ-
ity. Dr. Sohacht and Herr Krupp differed over the allotment of foreign currencies for the purchase of raw materials though they are now' reported to be reconciled.
