DROWNED IN RIVER.

VERDICT AT THE INQUEST. AUCKLAND, Monday. A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest to-day on William Ferguson Wilson (57), who was drowned while swimming in the Tamaki River yesterday. He waved to a friend from the water, but a few minutes later he was seen to he face downwards. Restorative measures’ failed.
