An Abyssinian Note to the Leasue of Nations complains that an Italian force on November 23 prevented the Anglo-Abyssinian Mission de mar king' pasture lands at Ualual 100 kilometres within the frontier. Italian tanks and aeroplanes without provocation attacked the commission’s escort on December 5. . Italian planes also bombed Adoa' Gerlogubi on December 9. The Italian Charge D'Affaires disregarded the Abyssinian protest, refused arbitration and demanded an indemnity.

Official circles insist that Abyssinians pay £20,000 and do homeage to the Italian flag in recognition of Italian territory under the 1908 agreement. The Abyssinian Charge D’Affaires has protestd to Italy, alleging the nondelivery of telegrams sent to the Abyssinian Government through Italian companies.
