IMPROVEMENT IN MUTTON. lamb slightly easier. . The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has been advised as follows: — Lamb market: New season meeting with fair trade with prices a shade easier owing to heavier arrivals. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes with improved demand at better prices. Beef market: Fair trade with prices unchanged. New Zealand porker pigs: Trade slow but should improve with colder weather. * New Zealand 1 baconer pigs': Prices slightly easier for the small spot stocks.
