FLOW OF MIGRATION.
TURNING TOWARD .ANTIPODES. The opinion that opportunities for migrants no longer existed in the United States and that people wishing to leave Great Britain and other countries were instead turning toward Australia and New Zealand, was voiced by Mr W. V. Read, a Sydney solicitor, who arrived in Wellington in the Makura from Sail Francisco after a tour abroad.
