Missionary, Society in Australia and New Zealand, who arrived at Sydney yesterday, said the ohuroh had, to some extent, solv-> ed the problem of the effect on at-> tendance at worship of hiking In England. The Churches of many denominations had accepted the view that young peope could go hiking and had decided to serve them by holdlnf special services. It was not unoommon to see large numbers of bloycles stacked In ohuroh yards during aervioes and when the service was over young men and women came out of the ohuroh In shorts and , shirts and went off for a day’s enjoyment in the oountry. These services, as, well as other services held, at hiking rendezvous, were well attended. j
