THE AUCKLAND MARKETS. FAIR LIST OF SALES. (By -Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, -Monday. The Slock Exchange manifested a moderately healthy tone at the first call of the week, and a fair list of sales was put through. There was an improved demand for Government stocks, with all lines except 111 c i 9 i 9 issue in request at prices well up to late rates. Local body issues, however, were neglected, the only quotation in this class being a parcel of .Ml. Roskill si[ per cent., which was on offer at £lO7. Buyers were hesitant in regard lo banks, and‘still more so with insurances. Breweries shares were quoted at between 48s Od and -IDs Gd,, and Waihis . I from 37s to 38s 9d. Colonial Sugars were very- firm, with buyers al £i() 15s ami holders asking £ i-J 3s. Farmers' Trailing seemed easier with sellers al. 7s Id and no buyers. Sales Rocordod.
