MELBOURNE. Nov. 9. Canada, with 83 points, won the inter-Empirfe schools' sports. - .Victoria, 58, was second, and New Zealand, 29, third. The most thrilling race was the mile, in which New Zealanders were first and second.
The Empire 'Games broad jump champion, Richardson (Canada), was defeated by Letcher (Victoria) after a dead heat. The track was heavy. Results are:—
