The London crew, leading easily from start to finish, - ,defeated the Union Club’s eight (Wanganui) In the • Challenge Cup race at the Henley-on-Yarra regatta yesterday 'by three lengths. The conditions were perfect. London had defeated Hawthorn in the heats, and Union had defeated University. In the first semi-final Union had defeated Mercantile. London's time in the Anal was 4m. 3'7s.

Sculling results are as follows: Yarra Challenge Cup.—First heat: Abbott (Petone), 1; Peppier (Yarra). 2; Power (Melbourne), 3. Won by three lengths. 1 Second heat: Smith (Waitemata), 1; Heidrioh (South Australia). 2. Won by six lengths. Third heat: Turner. (New South Wales), holder of the cup, 1; Tippling (New South Wales), 2.,Fourth heat: Hausen (Footscray), 1. Semi-final: Turner, 1; Abbott, 2; Peppier, 3. .Second semifinal: Smith, 1; Hansen, 2.
