BRYANT HOUSE RE-OPENS.
CHILDREN’S FREE TREATMENT.
SUCCESS FO’R ASTHMA CASES. Providing free treatment for children, the Bryant House convalescent home at Raglan will re-open next week. Last summer over 300 boys and girls recuperated under the healthy
conditions that prevail at Ocean Beach and it is anticipated that an even greater number will benefit this year. ■Until the end of September the home was utilised by convalescent women, and, following a brief period of inactivity, the children are now again to be catered for. The youngsters,, who are admitted on the recommendation of any medical practitioner, receive inestimable benefit from the sound nourishment, regulated exercise and healthy surroundings at the home. Unusual success was obtained last
year In the treatment of asthma and in a large proportion of oases even the troublesome after-effects of the complaint were thrown off.' The trustees of the home are particularly anxious to treat asthmatical children, and Mr D. 'V. 'Bryant stated yesterday that preference would be given them In regard to entry. •Where It is impossible for parents to arrange transport to the home for their children, the board of trustees will be prepared to provide means of conveyance.
