PATERANGI NEWS.
TENNIS DANCE. The dance held in conjunction with the tennis opening was well attended. A jolly lime was spent dancing to excellent music provided by Mrs E. Holmes, of Te Awamutu, with extras by Mr' F. Beet. A .Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss D. Hollister and partner. Among those present were Mrs S. Smith, Misses Kitty Macky, E. Kitchener, Joyce Ryburn, Enid Spiers, ,A. Macky, R. Bell, Ivy Sifleet, Thelma Adams, Rene Spiers, Betty Allan, E. Macky, Francis Hermann, Monica Brennan, I. Smart, Jean Allan, Elsie Woodhead, Mavis Macky, Dorothy Hollister, Rene Hancock, I. Norton, Ella Shaw', Iris Hancock, Kath. Head, N. Rhodes, G. Bell, A. Jones and L. Dowd.
Personal Notes. Miss G. Ryburn has returned from a holiday in Rotorua. Mrs J. Karl is staying with her daughter, Mrs I. Giles, of Ngaruawahia. Miss Kitchener was the guest of Miss A. Maoky for the week-end. Miss J. Resion has returned from a vis'll to Mrs F. J. B. Ryburn, “The Oaks.”
