PERSONAL.

Mr F. B. L. Craig, of Hamilton, was a guest at the weekly luncheon of the Auckland Rotary Club yesterday. Mr Gordon Bryan, examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London, is visiting Wellington. Mr Gerald Hay, formerly assistantmanager of the St. James Theatre, Wellington, has taken up the position of manager of the Regent Theatre, Wiiangarei. Mr David Jones, chairman of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, left Auckland by the Niagara to-day for Vancouver, cn route to .England, to discuss with the British authorities meat imortations into Great Britain.

Guests at the Hamilton Hotel include. Messrs H. R. Thomas, A. V. Hewitt, S. G. Hancock (Wellington), B. W. Hilton (Paeroa), L. L. Thomas (Napier), E. R. Tremain, R. D. Little, E. J. Hankins, F. 1.. Kenrick, G. C. W. Reid, if. Peacoeke, L. Adams, H. T. Hall, and 11. C. Mabbctt (Auckland).

The Hon. A. Hamilton, PostmasterGeneral, left a private hospital in Wellington during the week-end and expects to leave for the South this week. He lias made very good progress since ids operation, but it, will be some time before he will be able to resume his Ministerial duties.
