Under Ihc auspices of the Hamilton Boxing Association, the South Auckland amateur boxing championships will be staged in the Alexandra Hall, on Saturday, October (5. Entries are being invited for Hie following classes: —Fly-weight, ban-tam-weight. feather-weight, lightweight. welter-weight, middle-weight, light, heavv-weighv and heavy-weight. Nominations will close on Saturday, September 29, at 5 p.m. The executive of Hie local association was unsuccessful in securing a visit, of Hie. Australian amateur championship team who will be touring New Zealand in October, but Waikato enthusiasts will have ample to engage their attention in Ihe approaching championship meeting which promises to be in every way us successful as recent similar tmi---- iu Llie town.
