McArthur, at a meeting of the board on Saturday. Full approval was given the report, which showed that the grand total of the board's loans was £ ISO,OOO. Under the proposed scheme for conversion the. annual payment over a period of 30 years will remain steady at £9772, instead of £9934 at present. Tho average saving on annual charges will amount lo £503 10s sd, on a total of £15,114 over Ihe entire term-
