As a sequel to a romantic dash to Gretna Green on March 14, 1932, when the parents pursued an eloping couple by aeroplane, motor-car and express train, Mr. Justice Eve to-day gave away his grand-daughter Joan at her wedding. She was married to Mr. Thomas Ilanburyq son of Mr. C. Hanbury, Conservative member of the House of Commons for Northern Dorset, at St. Margaret's, Westminster. The marriage of the couple was impossible at Gretna Green owing to lack of residential qualification. Mr. Danbury after the frustrated elopement, went big game shooting in Canada. His formal engagement to Miss Eve was announced la 1933. The bridegroom now is 20 years old and the bride 18. Ex-King Georgf of Greece attended the wedding and the Duke of Connaught sent a preS. cut.
