COUPLE FOUND DEAD. RIFLE IN CAR. ' United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, July 20. Henry Maxwell Foreman, aged 23, of Coralbingie station, Trangie, and Miss Jean Carmen, who was librarian at tlie Trangie School of Arts, were found dead this afternoon in a motorcar on a road eight miles from Warren. It is stated Lliat their deaths were due to bullet wounds, tlie shots having been fired from a rifle. The bodies were found huddled together on the seat of the. car and the rifle lay near them. Deceased were very well known in the district. They were seen at polo games at Trangie on Wednesday, but disappeared from the grounds and had not been seen again up to the time they were found dead. According to the police Foreman borrowed a rifle from a relative last Friday. It is thought this was Hie weapon found in the car.

At Carcoar to-day the coroner found that John Ryan (79) died of hemorrhage from a bullet wound in tiie chest feloniously and maliciously indicted at Barry on June 7 by Mrs Charlotte Fowler, aged 58. lie committed her for trial on a charge of murder. The coroner said he could not declare what was the motive for the crime and he would not hazard a guess at it, but there were certain features about the evidence and the movements of a certain person that could not be dismissed. The inquest had lasted nine days. Mr John Ryan, a retired farmer, was found dead early in June, llis body was in a sitting posture in an armchair in an isolated cottage, where lie had lived by himself, on his son's property. A bullet wound in the victim’s chest disclosed that lie had been shot at fairly close range.
