Tlio’Premier made a statement outlining the Cabinet’s policy, as including a contribution to world peace and welfare, and the promotion of friendstrip with other countries while fulfilling Hie Empire's mission. It is proposed to enhance the national defences in view of Hie current situation, and while at the Naval Conference try to realise Japan’s claims by fair and adequate means. The amity between Japan and Mancliukuo is an epochal factor in the strengthening of peace in East Asia, and for this reason would co-operate towards the new Empire’s prosperity: An endeavour will be made to balance the budget, promote industry and commerce and rural relief and purify politics.
