ELSTOW BRANCH. The May meeting of the Elstow branch of the W.D.F.U. was very well attended. Miss N. McCormick presided. The report of the provincial council meeting was read and discussed.
It was decided to join with the Ngarua and Te Aroha branches in promoting a public lecture in Te Aroha on the League of Nations, the date to be arranged to suit the lecturer, who would be in the Paeroa district soon.
