THE POPULAR AUSTIN.

FINE DISPLAY AT SHOW. ■, I It is interesting to hear Show visitors as they enter the Automobile Section ask “Where are the Austins?” and as the striking Austin display of latest saloons presents itself the admiration of'all is evident. This year s presentation is a convincing fulfilment of the Austin policy to produce cars which are foremost in their class. The popular Austin 7 h.p. makes an irresistible appeal and is undoubtedly the best, most dependable, economical and efficient seven h.p. car on the market. In keeping with the other Austin models the Seven is fitted with synchromesh gears. Simplicity of arrangement and accessibility of all parts needing attention have made the Austin Seven the owner-driver’s' favourite. The truth of the Austin Slogan—- “ You Buy a Car —But You Invest in an Austin” is well exemplified in the price of the Seven —£227. The Austin Ten Four which is most attractive had a very favourable reception upon its introduction, and has gained consistently in public favour ever since, so that now dt is one of the most popular cars on the road. The Ten Four is priced from £298. The Austin Harley Twelve Four has established itself as a warm favourite and is priced from £355. Also on display is the Austin Ascot 16 h.p. -Ccyl. A leading motor journal recently described this car as the most talked-of car In New Zealand to-day. The last three mentioned cars are fitted with extra strong crossed brace drop frames. This is a display which no wise motorist should fail to see, for here are cars with a pedigree and a reputation for years of reliable service and unexcelled comfort. Immediately across the road from the Austin stand is R. B. Seabrook's Austin Garagel on the corner of Ward and Anglesea Streets. (Here a full Austin service is maintained and in addition will be found a fine range of wiselyselected used cars at prices that enhance the high reputation for which this firm is famous. 854
