MR THOMAS WILLIAMS. WARKWORTII, Wednesday. The death has occurred of Mr Thomas Williams, one of the pioneers of the liodncy district, aged 74 years, MR CHARLES FIRTH. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. <ny Telegrapti.—nress Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Tho death lias occurred in Sydney, as a result of being knocked down by a motor-ear, of Mr Charles Firth, at Hie age of 82 years. Mr Firth, who was born in Iluddersiicld, Yorkshire, England, was an accountant, and came to New Zealand in 1912. He went to Sydney about three years ago lo live with his daughter, Mrs M. 11. Ryder. v
