GOLF MATCH. A pleasant arternoon was spent on the iroif links, when several of Te Awamutu’s leading' jroirers played a match with T 0 Kawa players. All enjoyed the day's play. several local members attended the opening or the Maihllhl Golf Club on Saturday/and a Jolly little dance in the evenChurch* Servico. Rev. Stephen Wareing, or Te Awamutu. conducted a well-attended service In the Te Kawa West School, it is hoped to hold the services each month. Social Club. There was a good attendance at the opening card evening or the 1c Kawa West S °mlss C Lorna Scholes won the ladles’ prize ami Mr R. Berry the men’s, while consolation prizes went to Mrs Scholes and Mr F. Thomas. . , The committee has decided to hold the socials every week.
