FEDERAL LOAN
£12,000,000 TO BE RAISED 3j PER CENT. INTEREST. Uni tea Press Assrr.—KP-r. Tel. _ CANBERRA, May 30. Mr J. A. Lyons, the. Federal Prime Minister. announced that a new loan of £12,000,000 will be opened next Thursday and close not later than June 18. The| rate of interest will be 3i per cent, and the issue price £9B 10s. The loan will be repaid at par in fourteen years.' The average yield to the investor will be £3 7s Sd per cent. These terms are the lowest on which a new Commonwealth internal loan has eve?; been offered.
