NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. AN ASSOCIATION FORMED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A further step, was taken for promoting the interests of table tennis when a New Zealand Association was formed in Wellington. It is proposed lo hold New Zealand championships between August 15 and September 15 Ibis year. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr Malcolm Fraser (Wellington); vice-presidents, Messrs A. Ball (Wellington), W. J. Gillies (Wanganui) and R. A Laidlaw (Auckland) ; secretary-treasurer, Mr G. R. Baking; chairman, Mr G. 11. Pownall (Wanganui): executive committee, Miss M. Parker, Messrs C. Smith, K. Longmore, 11. Kennedy, T. S. Williams; auditor, Mr T. McDonnell.
