COUNTRY QUEEN LEADS. The positions of the Queens In the Cathedral Queen Carnival had not altered very much at closing time yesterdav. The Country Queen, Miss Joy Peach, maintained her ,lead, while the Cathedral Queen, Miss Betty Manning had improved her position somewhat by moving up two places, from fourth to second. Otherwise the order remained 111 other changes will hr made at the end of the week, as eacl committee, realising that the earniva has less than two weeks to run, Ii making every effort to put its queei on the top on the closing day, June 11.
