THE AUCKLAND MARKETS. BIG LIST OF SALES. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUC K LAN L>, Tue sd ay. After a quiet spell yesterday the Auckland brokers were again very busy this morning, and a big li'sl of sales was put through. A feature of the business was the large proportion connected with primary industries, such as woollen manufactures, meat, freezing, Hour-milling and fertilisers. Apart from this the fresh bidding followed the usual trend. Values were steady in most cases. In Hie hanking section New Zealands continued the gradual casing tendency, with sellers at £2 8s and buyers hack to £2 7s Shi. Holders of New Zealand Newspapers dropped t heir limits to £L 9s ffd, buyers being steady at £1 Bs. Government, stocks were in keen demand, hut the only line offering was a parcel of i per cent., .19-10, which was available at £lO2 ss.
