Osaka and Tokyo papers report that a grounp of Manchurian and Korean farmers near Ilan (Manchuria) attacked Japanese troops, several being killed. The wounded include Colonel Nzuka and several officers. Hainking reports indicate that the farmers are> annoyed over land policies. SHANGHAI, March 11. Many people are apprehensive concerning the activities of certain Japanese diplomatic officers who are injuring the values of certain mission and other properties in China with the object of ascertaining what compensation would be expected in the event of “unexpected circumstances” arising.
