PARK BATHING POOL.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —In justice to our employees we cannot allow the exaggerated statement of your anonymous correspondent ‘‘Disappointed’’ go by without stating the facts. The paddling pool at Parana Park is cleaned out twice a week, and the sand deposited was placed there on my instructions to prevent the children slipping. The leaves from the near-by plane tree cannot be avoided. The curator of the Memorial. Park informs me that only on one occasion has he had to remove a tobacco tin from the pool.

During the children's holiday season the pool will be cleaned out each day—l am, etc.,

W. H. PAUL, President, Hamilton Beautifying Sooiety. Hamilton, Deoember 7, 1933.
