TE AWAMUTU TRACKS. ACTIVITY THIS MORNING. , IMPASTO’S GOOD EFFORT. (Special to Times.) TE AWAMUTU, Saturday. The course proper was available with the poles approximately 20ft. out at Te Awamutu this morning. The going was in excellent condition. Other tracks In use were the hurdle grass track, little grass and plough. On the course proper Arawa Rose was moving comfortably to complete six furlongs in 1.20. King’s Knave, who was assisted over the final six furlongs by Knight, of Australia, was allotted a mile and a-quarter task covered In 2.12 2-5, the first mile in 1.45 3-5. Walt and See traversed half a mile in 53 3-ss. Ruri was slowing up the end of five furlongs in 1.9, the first furlong being run (p 15s. Impasto was responsible for the best half-mile of the morning, hitting out freely to come home in 50 i-ss. D’Artagnan and Top Flight had little in reserve at the end of half-a-mile In 51 3-ss. They were fully extended throughout. Lucidus was moving freely at the conclusion of half a mile in sis. Marechal covered five furlongs in 1.5 2-ss, the last half-mile being traversed In 51 3-ss. Dustup and Tuahehe slipped over half t a mile in 51 2-ss. The two-year-old Ling Moy was allotted five furlongs which she completed nicely in 1.6Loombinalion occupied 1.36 for a seven furlong journey.
