THE AUCKLAND MARKET. STRONG FINISH TO WEEK. G3y Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. There has been a strong finish to the week on the Stock Exchange and a good list of sales was finalised. At the- last two calls in the banking section Commercials were conspicuous ' and continued firmness brought the sale this morning at 17s 6d with more wanted at that figureNew Zealands were quoted ex-divi-dend buyers at £2 7s 3dAn offer of 12s 6d was received for Wright Stephensons (ord.) shares and 16s 6d was again available for preferences. Auckland Gas met with a firm request at £1 3s 9d. In Colonial Sugars hardened buyers moved up to £6l 10s, with holders asking £1 more. Fertiliser shares attracted attention and £3 13s was available for N.Z. Drugs; 7s 8d for Farmers’ Fertilisers, and 17s 9d for Dominion Fertilisers.
