PETER PAN’S LETTER
JQEAR GIRLS AND BOYS,— What a splendid old world It Is with this bright, sunny weather.. Hasn’t It been a wonderful week for swimming and tennis? But what thrills Peter most Is the Christmassy feel In the air. Everywhere he gees someone eaya: “ Oh, well, It’s only three weeks to Christmas,” and even the birds seem to be talking about It. The shops look so bright and cheerful, and soon Peter will be going on a shopping expddiltlon, and he will creep home qufetly and hide the gifts till Christmas morning. ,
Just now he Is very busy sorting the gifts In the Cheer Chest, and It Is suoh fifn. It Is like having two Christmases Instead of one. He hopes there will be lots of entries for the Christmas Competitions. There should be some splendid paintings, he and he hopes the little ones will write some Jolly ossays.
We shall all be sorry to see Elizabeth go. Bhe has written us some Jolly letters for the Junior League, and Peter Is very sorry to see her good-bye letter to youf all In our page to-day. A very merry Christmas and the best the new year can bring you, Elizabeth. Best of luok to you all,
