BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.

HAPPY TIME BPENT. A most enjoyable party was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs A. Wlg*ell of Frankton, last Monday njght, tn honour of the birthday of their oldest daughter, Elma. The rooms were oharmingly decorated with bowls of Iceland popples and festoons of coloured streamers. Games and danolng were indulged In and a dainty eupper was served- Mr L. Bennett proposed a toast to the guest of honour, which was suitably replied to by Mr R. Roberts. A very happy tlme_ was spent by all, and the party broke ■up In the early hours of the morning with the singing of “For 6he’s a Jolly good fellow." - \. Mrs Wigzell received her guests wearing a charming frook of floral 'silk ninon, assisted by Miss Elma Wigzell, wearing Ivory satin and lemon OTgandie. Among . the many present were: Mesdames Al Morris, wearing pink crinkle orepe; F. MoDonald, black georgette; F. Polnton, brown satin and laoe; L, Bennett, blue orepe ■uede; F.
