The Australian conversion loan of £16,647,000 Issued at a flat yield of £3 13s 9d and a redemption yield of £3 16s 9d was placed on the market to-day. The amount was oversubscribed. The cash applications lists were oily open for two hours. The success of the conversion loan probably will enable the remainder of Australian optional debts in London (£17,854,000) to toe converted in January, after which Mr S. M. Bruce, British High Commissioner, will be able to visit Australia.
