EXCITING INCIDENT. RUM RUNNERS & COASTGUARD, CAPTURED SMUGGLERS. RECAPTURED BY ITS CREW. GLACE BAY (Novia Scotia) Dec. 7. Four Canadian coastguardsrr.en were captured to-day by the crew of a suspected rumrunning craft Kromhouts, who turned on the guardsmen as the vessel was being towed into port. The coastguard cutter Stumble Inn had seized the ship and the captain assigned four seamen to take it into North Sydney. Striking quickly, the Kromhouts’ crew overpowered their guards, cut loose their ship which was being towed by the Stumble Inn, and raced it out of range of the coastguards’ guns. The Government vessels began an Immediate seaijojh.
