THE MATAMATA OLUB. The Matamata Swimming Club 'has expectations of a bumper attendance, when the Australian women swimmers, Misses Frances Bult and Claire Dennis, swim at the carnival on Monday, December 11. The events . at the weekly swim of the olub were well competed, with the following results: — Men’s 33 l-3yds handioap: .Final, R. Beamish 1, R. Hill 2, J. Swap 3. 66 2-3yds handicap; J. Swap and L. Douglas equal, 1, J. Morrow 3. ■ 66 2-3yds breastroke handicap: E>. Robinson 1, D. Turner 2, W. Heeney 3.
