CHRISTCHURCH TO DUNEDIN. FLEMING BREAKS RECORD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Riding under favourable conditions, L. G. Fleming, the Canterbury cyclist, completed the journey from -Christchurch to Dunedin in excellent time to-day, breaking the previous record by about 30 minutes. The previous record was held by W. L. Oldham, of Oxford, Canterbury, who rode the distance of 243 mfles in 14 hours 2 minutes 51 seconds in January.
