TARIFF TRUCE.
AMERICA'S ATTITUDE. WILL STAND BY IT. FAIRLY EFFECTIVE. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. WASHINGTON, Nov. 7. The State Department to-day noted Mr. W. Runciman’s denunciation of the Tariff Treaty. Mr. Cordell Hull said the Government, however, expects to stand by it. He commented that the truce must be fairly effective or none of the signatories would desire to repudiate it.
