The totallsator investments amounted to £22,414, against £16,492 on the corresponding day last year, an Increase of £5922.
TE RAPA ACTIVITY. FEW GALLOPS RECORDED. A heavy fog over the course Interfered with training operations at Te Rapa early this morning hut the fog lifted in time for the after-breakfast brigade a few of whom were sent against the clock. The course proper with the flags about forty feet out was in use. Star Artist-, Miss Li*.u, Cargen and Prince Acre who were worked before breakfast were restricted to easy exercise over a round.
Sinking Fund Goes Three. Sinking Fund, alone, left three furlongs behind In 395. Hunting Bag (Brady) and Killadar (Connor) were associated over an easy five furlongs in 1.7 i. There was little between Paganelli (A. Gilmer) and Boughal (J. Day) at the end of six furlongs in 1.22.
Two-year-olds Sprinted. Lion Heart (Day) had the measure of the Wenday colt (Brady) over two furlongs along the back in 255. Little Artist was a couple of lengths behind Wynne’s Delight at the conclusion of half-a-mile in 54 5.
Among those to be exercised were Wiltshire, Gawan, Travelling Agent, Phiakuo, Lady Dlacquenod, Chang and Grand Score.
