The Vienna correspondent of tho Times states that the Austrian Chancellor, Dr. Dollfuss, Who Was wounded on Tuesday afternoon by the exhiilitiaman Dertll (Vergil), Is Improving. The police possess ooholusive proof that Dertil has been a ' registered member of the Nazi Party since January, 1932, and also a storm trooper. A form he filled in recently was discovered in the course of a raid on Nazi premises. Dertil \vds confronted with this form, whereupon he withdrew his denial that he had been a Nazi. He explained that he resigned six months ago. The Vienna correspondent of the News Chronicle says the Vice-Chan-cellor, Major Fey, declares’ that Dertil was driven to commit the crime by his Nazi mentality. "I believe we have got the Nazis on the run,” said Major Fey. “We will complete their destruction in a few weeks. The result will be that Germany Will realise she cannot break Austria. After that a friendly settlement will be possible.”
