WOOL CONFERENCE.
FINAL RESOLUTIONS. ARBITRATION AND DISPUTES. Unlied Press Assn. —Eloc. Tel. Copyright. BUDAPEST, Oct. 5. The wool conference has.closed. It passed resolutions regarding unjustified claims, stipulating (1) that in the event of unsettled disputes the name of the party refusing arbitration should bo “black listed and communicated to adhering countries; and (2) that an arbitration clause should be inserted in all contracts. The conference appointed an International committee to consider the possibility of adopting either the German property clause or a provision imposing obligation on a creditor in order to assure that a debtor’s'guarantee would be honoured; also committees were set up to deal with (1) the incorrect marking of goods and (2) sale conditions of wools. It was also agreed to send questionnaires to the respective countries seeking their views on tariff agreements. Mr W. P. Devereux (Australia) welcomed the' Italian proposal for the inauguration of propaganda to increase the sales of wool.
