Acclimatisation Society. —At n meeting of Morrinsville holders of Acclimatisation Society licenses to consider the proposed restrictions on shooting, a resolution was passed recommending a close season in 1930, followed by a season with a license fee of £2. Another resolution was passed asking for an open season for pukeko, which were said to destroy tho eggs of ducks and were becoming a nuisance to farmers.
