What Is considered to be an important achievement in connection with the Government’s campaign against kidnappers is that two convictions were secured to-day In two sensational cases. Seven defendants, including one woman and a notorious gunman, Harvey Bailey were convicted and now face imprisonment for life for the kidnapping of Mr Charles Urschell, a wealthy Oklahoma city petroleum magnate. Six members of a gang, including one woman, were also convicted and sentenced to Imprisonment for life, in connection with the kidnapping of August I.uer, an aged banker, at Edwardsvillc, Illinois.
