It is stated 'that the theatre, which is being constructed by Amalgamated Theatres, Limited, will have seats of a new design, which will be much wider and more comfortable than the usual type. There will be a space of about a yard between each row so that people reaching central seats will not disturb those nearer the aisles. Efllcient sound equipment, heating, lighting and ventilation are to bo provided for. Tenders have been called for the new building, which, it is anticipated, will be completed by the new year.
