g; BOWLING CLUB . OPENINQ. , The Te Aroba Bowling: Club officially anened its season on Saturday. Mr A. L Willis, vice-president, •in the absence or tbe president, Mr A. - H. Margison, briefly addressed • large assemblage, and Mrs Margison sent down the kitty. Arternoon tea was served by the ladies, and on behair or the club the patron, Mr j. A. Clothier, presented Mrs C. A; stuck, wife' or last year’s president, with a hand-some-silver-mounted ,cake-dish as a mark or appreciation Tor her valued services in the 1032-33 sqason in connection with the catering arrangements. , „ . , Consequent upon the recent -demise or Mr A. D. Wallace, vice-president, and as a mark or respect, bowls were not played during the arternoon. >
