BRUNNER COLLIERIES.
THE ANNUAL REPORT. PROFIT ON YEAR’S WORKING. The eighth annual accounts of Brunner Collieries, Limited, Greymouth for the year ended June 30, show a profit of £940, compared with £246 in the previous year. With £44 brought forward, the amount at the credit of profit and loss appropriation account is £984. Out of this a further £4OO lias been written off preliminary expenses and £249 off debenture expense account, leaving £335 to be carried forward. The capital of the company is £59,420, an increase of £387 in the year. First mortgage debentures and accrued interest arc £36 higher at £30,404. Creditors are owed £5823, a reduction of £lOBl. The total of assets is £97,364, or £690 less than a year ago.
