AVIATION SCHOLARSHIP.
88 ENTRIES RECEIVED. THE WINNER AT HASTINGS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Monday. . The, aviation scholarship, founded by the Herald and Tribune newspapers, and conducted by FlightLieutenant Gerfrand, instructor to the Hawke’s Bay Aero Club, Hastings, was won by William 0. G. Krogh, aged 20 years, of Hastings. There were 88 entries, 14 qualifying for the final test, including two women. The scholarship entitles 'the winner to free instruction to a license standard.
