BCIENCE OF PSYCHOLOGY. CONTROLLING hidden forces. The psychology of life and the, •ecret of successful living formed the subject of an interesting address by ■Miss Rona Olsen, the well-known American lecturer, in Toorak Hall last night. The speaker analysed the fundamental principles of life as being governed by hidden forces, which could be 'controlled by the application of Christian psychology, and made to turn seeming failures into success, stressed the need for an optimistic outlook at all times as the key to happiness and real enjoyment, of life, and explained the results of the proper application of psychological principles. A large audience heard the address, which was the first' of a series, and at the conclusion a number of written questions were handed to the speaker who answered them. Td-n’ight her subject will be “Your Mental Broadcasting and Receiving Station —Tuning-in.” To-morrow afternoon she will lecture to women only ■upon “The Psychology of Love.”
