CLAY BIRD SHOOTING.
IYIORRINSVILLE GUN CLUB. Members of the Morrinsville Gun Club met on Saturday. The weather was beautifully fine and shooting conditions ideal. The main shoot of the afternoon was for the Vice-president’s Trophy, the winner being Mr Amundsen. The following were the results;— Seven-bird Eye Opener.—W. Sharp (14yds), shot all birds and took first money. Webber (liyds), ,T. Findlay (layds) and Saunders (liyds), each shot six birds, and divided second money. Seven-bird Sweep. —W. Sharp (lords), .1. Amunsden (19yds), Saunders (liyds), G. Webber (liyds) and G. Kosoof (liyds) shot all birds, and divided. Vice-president’s Trophy, 15 birds. —J. Amudsen (18yds), and G. Kosoof (13yds), shot 13 birds and divided ■the stake. In the shool-off for the trophy both shot the five birds and again equalled. As lhe trophy had to in; won outright a first drop-out was ordered. Amundsen secured his 2Gill bird to win. Gimrraek, seven birds.—W. Sharp (10 to 22yds), Saunders (10 lo 22 yds) each shared lhe stake. Seven-bird Handicap.—G. Webber (liyds) shot all birds and took first money.
