Japan was the principal buyer. Yesterday 14,562 bales were offered, nearly ail being sold. Germany France, Italy and Bradford also supported well. The selection comprised good, to average lower grades and sold well. The highest price for scoureds was 31Jd and for greasy, 2-lid; average price for the week for greasy was 15d per lb., or getween £l9, 10s and £2O per bale.
