“SCOTCH NIGHT.”
TE AROHA ORPHANS’ CLUB. Bro. N. G. McLeod presided over a very large attendance at the September meeting- of the Orphans’ Club, which took the form of the Scotch night, when the guests of the occasion were members of the Rotorua, Hamilton and Cambridge Clubs. The programme was contributed to by the Rotorua orchestra, with vocal Items bv Bros. G. \V. Wheeler, McKenzie, Tattersall, Mlta 1 Te Whirl, J. Battersby, Harris, and J. C. McCready; recitations by Bro. J. Parlane: selections by the Te Aroha Pipe Band; violin solos by Bro. n.'Crompton, and concertina solos by Bro Harris.
